After installing a thick cushy mattress topper, flannel sheets and a soft comforter, I sleep very well.....as long as partner is not driving through LA or AR or road construction, etc. :biggrin_25523:

If your running team, chuck the spring mattress and get a memory foam one. Takes out the vibration and a lot of the bumps in the road. Also a long body pillow is a great "kickstand" to keep you from rolling around in bed while you are barreling down the road!

Outfit bunk with tempurpedic foam pad. Cover with pillow-top mattress pad. Dress bed with high quality cotton sheets and down comforter. Add a few high end down pillows. This makes for a comfortable place to sleep.

Carefully select your parking spot preferably as far away from the fuel island as possible. Try to avoid parking next to trucks with reefers or loud APUs.

Turn on fan for some white noise.

Read something incredibly boring. FMCSA or hazmat materials handbooks usually fit the bill.

    Then ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Rest in a truck is often the best you will ever get. Preferable over my bed at home.
