I have the Rand McNally TND 700 and i love it! You will NOT be happy doing LTL without a GPS :biggrin_25513:.

its worth eating BPJ's for a month to pay for it :yes2557:

Got back to conover this morning and got my paper work, 11 stops first i thought darn. Then i looked at it and 7 stops in Dallas and 1 in fort worth EASY!

then i go to get to my truck and the lower lot is blocked off! WTF so i moved their little cones to go get my truck (no parking in the lower lot they think its going to flood) well my pickup is down there so it better not! lol

Then i drove to Maridian, MS.

Then I just did my routing.....:biggrin_25524: I have a stop in South Padre Island!!!!!!!!!!! WTF thats the VERY most south point of Texas out in the water (island). 9+ hours from Dallas then the 9+ hours back to Fort Worth :biggrin_25511: lol

The South Padre Island stop says deliver to Lonestar which sounds VERY familar i think thats in Dallas/ Fort Worth area i beleive ive been there but no address or phone number!!!!!!!! So i'll have to see whats up.

IF it is where i think it is, and that stop is going there, I'll be MT on Tuesday they have this routed for 3 days, but i think thats because of the South Padre island stop.....so I donnno. The route isnt NEARLY long enough for that stop to be down their. So im not going to sweat it for now

well ok its 100*+ im gonna sweat a little haha

If your going to be a truck driver your going to have to learn to love NASCAR.

I never understood the nascar obsession. round'n'round? I donno.. I don't get it, but I'm from the north. Now sticks, blades, ice and body slams! that's something.

(sorry! I know how important nascar is to people.. esp to truckers, so I've discovered.. I mean no offense!)

I think nascar is more important to people in the south, b/c must of us grow up around it. Alot of local short tracks in the south, especially Virginia and the Carolinas....In high school, if you werent actually racing, the fun thing to do on a friday night is go to the track...I raced Pro 6 in my teenager years, then went on to drive a tow truck for the same company that does the infeild towing, Its pretty fun.

Now hockey is a boring sport to me, but them boys are Tough!!!

sry to steal the thread......i just applied to W/S last Fri...Matthew in recruiting called me back, but Im a vol firefighter and we had a mandatory meeting due to the storm didnt have a chance to talk.....hope to speak to W/S monday and see if i cant get some good news....earthquake to a hurricane in less than 3 days...bad news seems to be the story around here lately
