Hazmat,
For once I agree with you that we agree to disagree and nothing more than that folks.
No Need to get out the Banning hammer lol.
As for the HUB miles no, JBS Pays House hold Short miles, which is zip code to zip code. Next time you are in ask a DM or Darrin to show you the BS program on the TMW. Darrin would also like to see this change as he knows some places we go it can be a huge Difference.
As for the Traffic and one lane roads, after 23 years of Driving I have a good idea of what time to go through towns and plan my driving around that. I drive 90% of the time at night or Early AM.hazmat777 Thanks this. -
For those of you heading EAST towards Virginia, up to NYC Check the DOT sites in the states you are running.
Virginia has closed I 85, I 95 and I 64 South of Richmond, and I 64 east of Richmond there are a ton of trees down there. Not a good thing almost 1 million people without power.
This Irene is a real biatccch tearing up the coastline as she travels the EAST.The Challenger Thanks this. -
For a slight change of Subject has anyone been to the Caves in Carthage MO, Schrieber foods.
I just found out I am picking up there tomorrow and well I am claustrophobic as all hell I jump out of an airplane but caves mortify me. I went in the Cave in Independence 14 years ago and had to pay the Yard jockey to put the trailer in and bring it out. -
I78 and I80 are a mess in Jersey as well. NYC is saying no mass transit until late Monday. I'd avoid the coast at all costs myself. The storm surge is going to hit at the same time as one of the highest high-tides this year. -
I'm not real good w/abbreviations on this site. DM or Darrin to show you the BS program on the TMW. Had to copy whats a DM, BS program, and a TMV.
If you are talking about the millage situation. I been here a year and half and I know what they pay. I was talking about people talking about there hub miles when they say they ran 4200 miles a week thats all.
Since we get paid bi weekly I can care less about my weekly miles. I care about the number of paid miles that I have ran and that I will be getting paid for on Thursday at the end of pay period. So my mile schedule is from. Thursday. to the next ending pay cyle thursday, But it seems most people on here are talking about miles from sunday thru saturday. So Thats where my miss communication was.
I also must apologize to you Mr. Doc for saying you were the only one claiming that many miles, and I have seen others. I thought I read most of this post from front to back but I guess I skipped a few pages.
Also Doc are you the Doc holiday from the trucking bozo show? Just wondering. -
well they cut my 34 short cuz apparently the Marshalltown plant ran out of empty trls!
Lesson learned! Next time drop my empty off first!
Spendin the night at Iowa 80, gonna get my PM done in the morning! -
Hazmat,
