And there's wifi in the lounge. Someone here should know the password. I should be rolling through there on Monday, need to talk to Kelby so I'll say hi! lol
-
I was getting a pretty good signal on my Iphone with AT&T here at the terminal, so I went ahead and bought a hotspot (I guess you can say rented, as I'm going to return it within the 30 days and get verizon
), just needed something to entertain me till Monday.
I'm kind of in limbo here at the moment, my orientation does not start till Monday, but I was thinking of calling Kelby tomorrow to see if I can do some yard work with the other drivers here from last week. It will suck to sit here all day tomorrow and not be productive in some way. We'll see, i hate to call him on his day off...
I'll keep an eye out for you on Monday.... Hung out with a couple of company drivers today and one O/O, lots of useful info, so I'd say it was a good idea to come a day early.. -
Does anyone know if the AC in the dorm and drivers lounge is automatic, or if someone is raising and lowering it manually?
Reason I ask, it's pretty nice right now (I like it cold), but last night it shut down and it was hot.
-
It's automatic and set by office staff. Highly recommended you DO NOT attempt to adjust...them ladies can get awful mean when you do!
-
No plans to adjust it, just wondering, as it turned off last night and got real hot, then came back on in the morning hours and cooled off.
I can adjust to almost anything, heck we used to camp in one of those old army surplus canvas tents
, talk about freakin hot..

I'm giving WS a lot of thought once I get out of CDL class. They have a form you stay in while on the 10 day? Do you get your own room or is it a group thing?
-
More than likely 2 people to a hotel room...
-
I currently have my own room in the dorm, but currently is the key word, I'm sure that could change any day. The room is decent, queen/full size bed (not sure as I have a king at home, so it's one or the other). You have access to the drivers lounge with full kitchen, tv and computer.
Only been here a day, so I have no idea what's to come, but I've had a chance to b.s. with a few drivers and they all seem to really like the company. One has been here a short time, the other 4 years and a 14 year veteran. -
Depends on where you go for orientation and how many are in orientation.
Missoula: dorm onsite, 2 per room. (being from TX I assume you'd go to Missoula.)
Conover: Motel, 2 per room.
