I once had a landlord not pay my security deposit back when I moved out. So a face to face visit at his office un-announced worked great. Letters and phone calls only get ignored. You want action ? Visit in person. Cousin Bob tagging along will help also.

A cell phone jammer would really slow him down. Especially if it was on a timer to turn on and turn off at random intervals.Rollover the Original Thanks this.

I had a moron O/O who actually fired several of the drivers that he had when leased on to a company but after screwing them and one of the drivers writing a letter telling how this fleet owner was treating his drivers they fired his arse and his 5 trucks from the his lease.
This idiot actually cut my last pay check by $280 saying the truck should have gotten 6.5 miles to the gallon but he said it got 5.2! Well it was a 1999 Freightliner and this happened in 1975 so I guess he was lying a bit! He knew that because it was fall and cooler I slept with the truck off.
I got back at him in a simple and easy way that cost him over $1500 plus an extra!
I always left home with an Igloo filled with 2 sandwiches and a few other treats. The sandwich bags I kept and cut into 2 squares with out the zip lock, just flat pieces of plastic. I filled one bag with 20 of these pieces of plastic and waited and waited because I knew I would someday soon see him and his own truck on the road as he still liked that Gold coast running and his favorite truck stop was the TA in Santa Rosa, NM.
As usually happens in hunting or doing the sniper game patience pays off! The idiot actually pulled into a spot right next to me and parked. I was driving for the same company we were leased to and he even looked me in the eye, nodded his head in a hello nod, got out and headed into the restaurant!
I gave him a minute, walked in and sure enough he was setting there looking at the menu and I went back to the truck and got my little bag of plastic out and opened his passenger tank and counted 10 out and put them into the tank and then did the same for the drivers side.
I waited for him and when he was finished eating and hitting on the waitress which this yoyo did all the time thinking she had never heard any of that BS from a driver! He just didn't have the smarts to take the wedding band off that his wife had on his finger!
Any way a few months later I see one of his trucks and start asking the guy how he liked driving for the moron. OH he told me the same things I already knew like the only female driver actually owed him money when she quit after getting tired of him hitting on her, the same thing that happened with a female when he was still at the old company!
Then I asked him if that thing called a Mack he was so proud of had any problems lately.
Man did it! He said he went crazy because he must have been buying bad fuel and was replacing filters every day several times a day for a week and couldn't figure out why they kept stopping up!
He said that he finally took it to the shop ($59 an hour!) and they started on their search. They did the filter change and figured that there was something wrong with the fuel pump because the fuel in the filters was clean but the filter was empty!
Replace the pump and away he goes but can't make it off the ramp and it's dead! Pull the filter and fill it and return to the shop. The shop keeps looking and so the mechanic sticks a coat hangar in the tank and found a piece of plastic!
EUREKA! They think that's it (Mack back then use cross overs and 1 tank pick up) so they think they have the problem solved!
NOT! Again it dies within a few miles and it's back to the shop! So they dip again and find another piece and dip and find still another so the drain the tank and find all 10!
The only problem now is there are still 10 pieces left in the passenger tank!
BUT the truck runs like a Mack and he's heading down the road tanks full and get about 400 miles towards his drop and well he runs out of fuel! By now he's about to go insane because the gauges show a half tank of fuel! He looks into one tank and yes it's MT but he knows that there were 2 full 150 gallon tanks that when he left the house and he opens the passenger tank and it's FULL AND has been pumping fuel out the tank vent!
WTHELLO!
From what this guy is saying he actually started hitting the door so hard he dented it up! He spent several hours on the side of the road dipping for plastic, missed his delivery time, lost the account but pulled all 10 pieces of plastic out of that tank!
He lost that account but it didn't effect the other drivers because he was the only one on it because it was the easiest load.
Now the trick about plastic squares in diesel fuel.
Plastic disappears in the fuel. Remember how fuel looks all swirlely when you look into the tank? Well those pieces of plastic just blend right in!
As the pump pumps fuel through the pick up tube it picks up a piece of that plastic and it stops up! The filter drains down below the tube and the engine dies from starvation. It shuts down like it has to do. The suction on the line goes away and the plastic falls off and well fuel will flow again until another piece is sucked onto the tube. This goes on until it's figured out!
For the second half of the "get back at moron" slam dunk, the cross over line is doing the same thing! As fuel is sucked from the full tank into the draw tank the cross over will stop up and the draw tank will go empty and as will happen to an internal combustion engine it dies!
This, as you have been shown, will cost the person that owes you money, money! You won't get any money in your pocket but I can work with the satisfaction that he will spend at least 4 times what he owes me and go insane with a small fuel problem! I got an extra bit of that satisfaction from him losing his account. The other driver decided he was going to quit because the owner was still treating his drivers like peons and messed with pay checks all the time.
I have been by his shop a few times since then and I guess in about 2005 the building was MT and for sale.
You mess with me I mess back but in ways you can never think of and it's going to cost you more than what it would have to just pay me what we agreed on when I signed on with you!
Some day I'll tell you the story of a container yard that charged me for a flat that was still leaking but they called it off the rim!CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
That wouldn't matter anyway if he filed chapter 7 bankruptcy, which is likely.
Pay him a personal visit. Stay in his face until he pays you what he ows you. Don't do anything stupid/illegal that's going to cost him money, as then he wouldn't be able to pay you.
Also, I would contact his wife and tell her that he hasn't been faifthful. I would get some personal gradification watching him loose everything on alamony and child support.Last edited: Aug 28, 2011

Have some one serve him with papers for a paternity test in front of his wifey.

A hockey mask, Bat, and his knee caps

Contact all the local TV stations and tell them how he ripped you off, their investigative reporters love to screw with people like this.

He's already proved he's not sueable and won't pay. It's all one big game to him and highly unlikely you won't see a dime.
You got two choices
1. Let it go
2. Open a can of Tennessee whoop arse!
It's been 25 years ago, there was a local insurance company that was taking the cash in and was producing fake policies. He got me for like $600. After getting the run around, I took six friends down there and put the fear of god in him. We didn't touch him, just scared him. He got the $$$ from his family and paid me a couple days later.
Another time I worked for a fly-by-night company that went under and my last paycheck bounced. It was like $600. He agreed to give me a brand new 6' utility trailer for the check.
I drove to his town and met in a park. There he was was with the trailer. I walked up to his window. He snatched the check out of my hand and drove off......SO-a-B!
I'm currently in a predicament now and don't know what to do. I wanted to build a house and found some land I liked in Jan 2010. I met the owners, a 74 year old lady and her 65 year old brother. I gave them a $1500 down payment until closing. When I get the surveyor out there. Someone drives by and asks what I'm doing. I tell them I'm buying the property. He tells me he owns that property. What? The other people still claim it's theirs and has a deed.
So I get a title search done and sure enough the place was sold twice back in 1946 and two deed trails were out there. And the people I was buying it off don't own it. There's a law, first to register the deed wins.
Now I'm stuck with two old people on SSI and don't own anything and they spent my money. I thought about suing, but it's a waste of time.
