The easiest way to decide will be choosing if you want to run up and down the I-5 and out to Phoenix from L.A., or to have a better chance with Swift to see the entire "Lower 48".
Swift has a much bigger base of freight...and better equipment!
My humble opinion!
Also check on how many big law suits have been decided against each company.....Swift will be here at least a bit longer! -
Thanks i appreciate the response, ya i have a friend thats new to swift hes been working there for a year this month and he only has good things to say about them but im just doing my research hes the one that actually got me thinking about a career in trucking

I doing my training now with a mentor I have no problems so far. Heard all the stories also but you make the choice. I know I made the right one for me.

I just moved to Mesa and trynna decide between them and central Refrigerated. Central seems better than both.

Swift has a bad reputation with a lot of people, but its mostly undeserved (I see more Werner trucks wheels up than any other carrier), but I've heard more bad stuff from Knight drivers about them, than I've ever heard from Swift drivers.
