Got my dead chickens with barely enough time to grab a salad before hittin' the road last night. 3 minutes left on the clock when I pulled into Cumming GA a little while ago. They're back there now pullin' off the tubs.

Bet there were some tailgaiters wondering what was gettin' all over their cars last night!

So, you understand it isn't Tyson per se? There are very strict requirements by the FDA for how meat, poultry, fish are treated at the packing plants because of the threat of passing a salmonella infection on to the consumer. That's why there are these wide pickup windows, DDT times, etc. - not to mention how many receivers treat the product when they get it. For instance, many of our non-Cargil meat loads are timed at Walmart DCs to be unloaded only when a lab technician is available to test the load for salmonella.

So, who was the idiot who dropped a trailer with an empty reefer tank at US Cold Storage in Atlanta? I'm sitting here waiting on my trailer to chill and then a live load, instead of picking up a preloaded trailer! GRRR!!!
