Sitting here in Conover, NC at the terminal for the first time ever since getting hired. Pretty impressed with the size of this place. No wonder so many of you haul mostly furniture here this side of the Mississippi.

Now I'm ready to head back to the normal side of the US!

Long wait at the lumber mill.. Then the load itself took forever.. Then they screwed up, and I had to unstrap and let them replace some lumber.. Ran out of hours. So now I'm sleeping in the lumber mill. They run all night. Kinda noisy.

Where did you pick up the lumber? I ran into a similar occurrence at a lumber mill in central Mississippi at my previous company. There were no appointments since it was a "first come, first served" operation. I was the twentieth truck in line around noon, and finally left the mill around midnight. Since we were on electronic logs, I did a split break and had just enough time to haul ### out of there to the nearest truck stop.

Don't know why they took so long, but I was beyond bored.

might wanna check your GPS buddy there is no Pilot in Villa Rica, GA :biggrin_25513: There is a Hess/Wilco .5 miles from south wire in villa rica which is where your probably loading, but the Pilot and Flying J are 7 miles WEST of Villa Rica i cant remember the town name, then you got a Loves like 15 min further west....

oh and the Wilco has nice showers too!:biggrin_25525:
