nitrogen
What is the training/knowledge path to the type of work you are involved in? -
Truck driving skills. Then apply at nitrogen pumping company like calfrac or.
sanjel or any other fracing company. They will likely start you hauling bulk. Move up to pump operator as you learn on the job. All on the job trainingjvar4001, Patt52 and Fast Eddie Thank this. -
It almost sounded like OJT for your present position but was curious. Thanks for the reply, nitrogen.

Hey guys ive been reading through these threads today about working in ND in the oil fields and i must say im very interested. I hopefully pass my driving and backing test tomorrow(i think ill do alright). Anyways i talked with another student today and he told me he got a prehire with a company up there i think it was called anytime hydro excavation. He told me it starts at 25 a hour with 75-80 hours a week with housing provided along with paid transportation home when u go. Also he would be driving a straight truck which might delay trucking career as a OTR driver but for this kind of money i think i would accept that. I tried researching them and the number i found says the mailbox is full
. Anyways my question is , are most of the companies up there paying like this and hiring newbies? Also for anyone thats up there working now or that has will you still be able to get the hours during winter as its right around the corner and if i chose to go this route and freeze my butt off i would at least like to have the hours and make money for doing it. It being saturday/labor day weekend i cant really contact anyone at some of the companies posted so i figured i would ask my question here. Furthermore If anyone has any information of companies in paticular that hire newbies and start out at 25 an hour and provide housing please pm me the info or post here as any information is greatly appreciate. I thank you again for any information i can get. Depending if i can get some good info here i would just call every number on google which might take a while lol but hey if thats the worse situation then thats not so bad. THX Everyong!!!

I got an email from Schneider National the other day looking for drivers to work the oil fields. They even pay $2500 for relocation and promises of up to $60K the first year.
