Tornado Warnings S.E.Louiaiana

There are lots of dopler indicated tornado warning all over South East Louisiana. This includeds here where I am (Ascension Parish) and also in the New Orleans area and all along the north side of Lake Ponchartrain.

Hope nobody is trying to drive through this mess. Very gusty winds wipping the trees in circles and the rain is heavy and coming down sideways!

We got into a lull with just light rain here for awhile and I fell sound to sleep! Woke up just awhile ago to light rain. Checked the radar and see that we are in the area of the storm where the "dry" air is being pulled into it. But the eye of the storm is still just off the Louisiana coast. The weather people didnt say but it looks like the eye will make it to shore (sooner of later) in the Morgan City area of the coast. About 80 miles south of us. Boy what a rough night it was. We live in a small mobile home park and we have about 50 ft between homes. Making a big "tunnel" for the wind.

This area of S.E. Louisiana is still under a Tornado Watch til 10 pm tonight.
And they are still predicting high winds with gusts to 50 mph for us later on today and tonight.

They are now having bad rain, winds and Tornado Warnings in the Biloxi, Mississippi area and also in the Mobile, Alabama area.

Thankfully Kittyfoot made it to the terminal safely and is now on his way home. Best go make coffee!!!
