Report for this week: 3109 miles, 555.11 gallons of fuel, 5.60 mpg. Had some wind on the 2nd round that definately didn't help my mileage and still beat my previous 3 week average by .15 mpg. Loaded to 79,500#-80,000# pounds on all loads, 10% empty miles, 62-65 mph. I was a sceptic, thinking this was another Turbo 3000 when I agreed to test, but so far, I'm a believer. I don't know how it works but I do believe it helps. I'll post again next week, only one round to western Kansas and back to southern Missouri, then back home...

I'll try to get my second week's #'s up this weekend. Another skeptic here yet I got better fuel mileage again. My numbers might be a tad skewed upwards cause my typical loads of 40-45k were n't there this week, did lots of 5-15k loads.. but still did better than normal mpg's

OK, ECOTAZ, I got my ECO-5 installed. I finally got the time to go get some lines made up so I wouldn't have to use any adapters and I really wanted to stay with the factory fuel supply hose size. I'll start with the reports shortly after I get some miles and time on it. I've got all previous mileages since the truck was put into service (by me, the only driver) in May 2007 and I have them broken down by quarterly averages as well as annual. Winter month averages are consistently lower in my scope of operations while the 2nd & 3rd quarters are my highest mpg periods on average. I have also noted any alterations that could have considerable affect on mpg, i.e. tire brand/tread changes, engine work or aerodynamics, etc.
Someone noted earlier in this thread, and I agree, tank to tank reports are not the most accurate way of revealing mpg returns because a gallon or 2 can make a difference in shorter mileage spans obviously. So I will keep a close eye on fuel usage and make reports when I can do so with some facts, miles and gallons behind me.

OK, I finally installed the ECOTAZ fuel enhancer, I only ran 3 times, twice really light loaded and once loaded.
I have noticed a .1 mpg increase on the 1 lightly loaded run, I was averaging 73 mph due to be held up by a shipper( you believe this in this day and age) so I was running late for a door.
Usually my average speed is 62-66 mph.
I have kept a log as to miles, average mph, gallons of fuel consumed so I will posted the more accurate fuel consumption results later.
I used gallons actual consumed, real mileage, not the dash mpg meter.
I have a consistent run that do, so I know the gallons used and the road conditions( hilly, traffic, etc.) as to what I was consuming in the past ,
but I haven't run this in a few weeks,
but I will be running it soon for the next 3-4 months.
I haven't noticed any performance increase , but I have software issues in my ECM that need to addressed, nothing related to fuel consumption though.
Cummins ISX 15 liter...

Thanks for your report.
About 11 mph faster and still gained mileage. You should notice less down shifting as well when you get back to your normal driving.
have a.safe Labor Day!
