Still doing some log hauling with the company I started out O/O in 06 and Flatbedding with the Company I used to haul for when I was a company driver for them. I plan on slowly making the move over to FB Hauling more and more, just right now full time is not feasible, and the funds are not there to buy one right now.
So I thought it might be good to either lease one or rent one but didn't know where to start looking for this.
Looking for advice on this as to what you think?
Also what is the avg price of a used flatbed?
Places to rent or lease a Flatbed Trailer?

Not sure where your located at. But in Orting Washington theres a place called Trailer Source Inc. I rented stepdeck from them last year to get myself rolling. They made it very easy and price was ok. Its very easy to rent from them as they give anyone a chance.

Yeah, they're trailer rental places, like in Phoenix/So.Cal. etc.

try metro trailer rental

Most of the companies that will cater to an owner/op like for them to be based out of the same general area as it makes recovery far easier.
I leased some flats a couple years back from United Trailer Leasing in Blaine, MN even though I was in FL, however, so it can be done. -
I have a serviceable 98 transcraft 48/102 combo, aluminium deck and cross members. New fifth wheel plate and most cross members replaced. Good brakes and decent tires. Located either nw Indiana or Chicago heights Illinois your choice. 5,000 and I will throw in a couple of used tires that are still serviceable if wanted.

Would you post a few pictures? Very interested.

I posted more pictures in the classified section of this forum. Not sure on how to post a link to it.
BigBadBill Thanks this. -
That would be a great deal, too far for me to travel to get to! Thanks though I don't believe it will stay for sale long.
