I don't mean any disrespect, but just because you "heard they're a good company" doesn't mean a thing.
I heard that horse dung don't taste bad, you should eat some for supper tomorrow.
See how ridiculous that is?

What Companys Do You Think Then Are Good
-
Honestly, I don't think any of 'em are good. There are those that are worse than others, but they all are just about the same. I like the company I am with now (a small company based out of southwestern Indiana), but at the same time I wouldn't necessarily recommend them. There are better paying companies out there, and there are companies with better equipment. On the contrary, there are companies that won't get you home as often, and there are companies that you might never have a face to face conversation with your dispatcher/driver manager.

Do U Know Much About Central Ref.
-
no I don't...nothing more than what I've heard...which is both good and bad, with more bad than good...but I've never driven for them or knew anyone personally who did

Can U Explain What A Dac Report Really Is
-
A lot of states will pay for you. The stae is paying for me through a program called "Workforce, WV". They are paying for everything, CDL class, licensing, DOT physical and my Haz Mat.
If you go it on your own, you wont be stuck to a particular company for a given time. I am finding that this really (on your own) is the way to go. -
How Do You Get In To A Program Like Workforce ?
-
Go to your local unemployment office of vocational rehab office. If you are a displaced, layed off or low income worker you most likely qualify. "Workforce WV" is what they are calling West Virginias program. Other states may have similar programs but call it something different. I lucked out because based on my current income level and the fact that I pay child support and my GF is unemployed, I just met the income level to be approved. They take all of this into consideration.
Good luck in your efforts to get the training paid for. Never hurts to ask for a little help from the guy upstairs either.
