57MPH? You will save a ton on fuel but will have to keep replacing your ICC bumper from getting rear ended so often.

I for one find this thread interesting, also i have a racing history, i am very interesting in fuel economy. with some more reports from other's i'll be willing to try the bearings.

as someone who travels at 60 mph most of the time, i have never been rear ended, my dot bumper is fully intact. the statistics just do not support rear ended fears, yes they happen but not that often.

    BigJohn54 Thanks this.

Me too, I'm very interested to try the wheel bearings on both truck and trailer, I don't think I'm gonna do the rear end though because I only have one drive axle and I don't know if the savings I could achieve is enough to take the truck off the road, if I just do the bearings I could do them myself with minimal downtime, I think it's definately worth a shot

    Yes a great thread imo.
As I stated before Dice will get as much flack as praise for his efforts.
As they say tall trees catch the most wind.
Even if the Micro- Blue flakes off after 10 000 miles (not saying it will) , at least he had the 3alls and drive to try it.
Then post results for us all to see.
