If they falsify a document, correct it right then and there, in front of them. If they refuse to initial the correction, add that also. May help, may not but no reason to let them get away with it, eh.

 

That's what Gary had to do again... they put in 0705 and they didn't contact us - we had to contact them, and by that time it was 0755 by the time we got the paperwork... so he put in the correct time... they refused to sign, but its on there... so we will see if we get detention or not. 2.5 hours total

 

That is just like them. I sat at the last walmart I delivered to for 3.5 hours and they said it was 2. I asked them to correct it and they said that the paperwork was at the office in 2 hours. I asked them to put down the time they called me to the window and they did.

I doubt I will see any detention from it anyway. Walmart is one of Central's good customers and they won't rock the boat to ask for the detention time.

 

I've been thinking about trying to get on with central, But I am worried I won't get accepted because I was arrested for driving while suspended with no proof of insurance back in 2009. That was in Kansas, I live in Texas now with a valid drivers license since 6/2010 no tickets at all since 2009, a steady work history, and plenty of good references. If Central will not hire me are their any starter companies that might?

 

The reason for the suspension will Matter. This happens allot due to child support. A track record of suspensions is bad, they cannot afford to have it happen to a driver on the road. All suspensions must be listed, forever. I still list one from 1992.

 

Anyone starting Central Monday in SLC?

 

Haven't been around for a couple weeks, running my a ss off and also my computer crashed so had to reload it.

Lots and LOTS of miles. Picked the load up I'm under in Tolleson, AZ had a drop in Denver, a Drop in Chicago and final out tomorrow afternoon in New London, Wi so I am sitting at the New London truckstop tonight taking my break.

Miles are good right now. I had 4,200 last week running on recap hours no less. Not sure how I managed to do that... I am having some needed home time, back out on thursday or Friday.
