I think there is a very definite ebb and flow of conditions at most trucking companies. There are so many factors that make the job either awesome or suck, pay, equipment, long delays at shippers and receivers, micromanagement and a million more.

Change a few of those factors and the best company ever becomes just another CR England wannabe. It is the nature of the industry, even happened at Wal Mart years ago when I drove for them.

You are correct....its also the time of year..freight is slowing after summer...in the 3 years I've been here the change has been big.look at this thread same at this time last year and itis thesame...big picture? Still a good place short term some B.s. to deal with

 

Well I only got stuck in South Florida for one day (on a holiday weekend) and then I got a sweet load!......Homestead, FL to Ontario, OR!.......2800 miles!

 

OK Folks,
I have spent a lot of time today looking at many things, and talking to many people about this FUEL Optimizer/trip planning thing.

First an Foremost IT IS NOT IN PLACE at this time, they are simply doing a test.
Randy is the person who happens to be the fall guy on this one.
He was handed all the responsibility of Qualcomm and the messages on it or macro changes to the system.
Just Like Benny Hill he is only doing what he was told on this and I asked him about this message he only did what he was told.
So in essence Randy K Got an email about a Macro Change he did not choose the right wording and people are up in arms about it.

I asked about the "Route" Optimizer well we can thank the ####### who left Hyrum Utah with a load going to Benson, NC who drove his ####### to Albuquerque,NM (394) actual Miles out of ROUTE for being one of the DOUCHE bags who has gotten the attention of UPPER Management who is now wondering Are our Drivers that DUMB.

It is A few Meatheads who Screwed things up and now they are looking at options.
First and foremost will this hurt more or will it help the MORONS, I think it will help the MORONS who can not function as a Driver.

Then There is the dipsh*t who will not drive on any US, or STATE HWY who went 214 miles out of his way to get to JACKSON, MS.

I am serious These are real instances and I wonder if some of our drivers should be wearing Helmets with Coloring books. Now you super morons who think you are above RED lines in your mapbook Thanks.

And for those of you with GPS ( I have one to) That is not the "perfect way" wake up you idiots quit ##(_)&&))( those of us who do things right.

OK Now my rant is over and I realize that we have hired ####### and idiots.

 

I thought that was the case. They should charge the dum ###es for the out of route miles. They maybe and that's maybe they may start reading the map correctly if not . Do like Dot Don said in the past " You will be made available to the industry "

 

For those of you that are concerned with the"not hiring south of Of 20?" Don't be ...it will mean it will be ezer to get you home now...we now have all the drivers we need fo to hire in that area itr thos lanes....if we continue it gets harder to get enough loss down .....there

Hello,started looking at JBS about a week or so ago,I've been reading alot of posts on the company, and started seeing some more negative posts than positive as of late are they still a decent outfit to pull for? Have been thinking about calling them and getting more info but we all know how recruiters are lol any new info would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

They area very decent outfit,
As with any company someone sends out a message, it is not worded correctly and people react. And with any action there is a Reaction. Bottom Line is this company is Solid People will always have to eat.

TO my understanding after spending some time this evening with some of the people from the office(without divulging who they are the ones who should know what is going on on the carriers side) IT has been made very clear to JBS Carriers Executive's that WE WILL BE HAULING MORE JBS Products Effective immediately.
Ok We are back to being a private Carrier we are not a "common" carrier any more, We will once again be pulling more PORK,BEEF and Chicken Loads.
I just like every other driver here think We get the short end of the stick when it comes to Pilgrims Pride Loads. There has been so many "suits" running around the office in the last two days ( guess when the Batista Brothers show up people react) but there are some major things in the works that are positive for the growth of JBS.

Also Folks we need to remember one thing just like your DR. at home they can not fix it unless they know what is Broke. With that Do not present a problem unless you have a solution.
