We have been sitting at a rest stop on I80E about xt194 since about noon. No way around 80 being closed. Supposed to be in Lewiston ME in 9 hours...not gonna happen.
-
Got permission to go to Shippensburg, so here we sit......night FM sends message "Do you have load?"...Sent back...."No, couldn't get it because the roads are closed, the town is evacuated".....Got back "So, you going to pu tomorrow?"
-
lol...I guess that would depend on if the roads are open eh'? All the new technology and they can't wrap their heads around this one! It's only getting worse from what I have researched since this morning. Good luck to you.

This line of work is like most others. It's a never ending game of education and one should respect the education. I can't get in right now (suspended license for insurance violation) but i do understand the value of learning.

Durring orientation a guy asked if he could take his hometime anywhere he wanted, instructor said yes... When we got hired, we were given the manual.. I looked it over, as I always do and lo and behold...it states: "Home time location to be taken within 50 miles of principle residence of record for the driver. In the absence of a principle residence of record, the home time location will be observed within an area of fifty miles from their home domicile location". I also know that I saw somewhere where they will allow up to two time per year, hometime to be taken anywhere in the country.... I believe that was in a power point message...cant seem to find it in the book...
At anyrate,,very glad they allow you to take yours wherever you want to,,don't see no reason why they shouldn't, even from a business point of view...be safe out theremtnMoma Thanks this. -
SheepDog, which 2 gps system's do you use. i am looking to get one but haven't decided which one is best. I am trying to get a friend of mine to go get his cdl to team but he is on the ropes about it, so although i think i would enjoy teaming, i still don't know if i will team or go solo.
