No musunderstanding, and not problem. I was just making a joke about the older drivers being responsible for how the country is now. (bad joke is seems)

No your not, learn to read a #### map. the only difference is with the map you don't have that pretty little voice telling you where to turn. How do you think trucking got done before gps and google, the map and remembering where you've been. Besides, it makes you a better driver when you have had to back a mile of more out of a dead end street. The only thing that will make it even easier for you guys is if the receiver comes out to the truck stop and gives you an escort to the dock and then backs it in for you.

You should have let her polish your chrome, and then if there's any time left she could do your truck, ha ha haJarhed1964 Thanks this.

AT, just found your post. Keep up the great work, i am looking at getting back into it and reading your post and watching that video has me more convinced that i am making the right decision to come back. About the new truck, u might want to buy a used one and build it like u want it, i have been thinking of getting one later on also but have heard nothing but bad things about all the new ones with all the smog issue's. I have become a big fan of http://www.pittsburghpower.com/. Bruce has a monthly article in some of the trucker mags and makes a ton of sense.. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work

ok Yesterday I went 5 miles from SLC and loaded half a Trailer of shredded paper, then drove an Hour north to Ogden, UT and filled the rest of the trailer with Electrical wire (loaded 4 HOURS early) yay
Then I hit the road to Salem, OR, I made it as far as Standfield, OR to the pilot. Left right after my 10 was over and headed to Salem, OR to the Home Depot DC. Took 4.5 hours to get there ( I HATE 55MPH STATES!)
Anyway I got another load on my way there a D/H at the SAME home depot DC! So I dropped a Loaded trailer at the DC and then picked up a Loaded Trailer lol. I have 1 stop in Kalispell, MT and final in Missoula, MT both are Home Depots....First stop 11am 2nd stop 1200-1500......yea i donno about that thats a LONG way to go between the 2 + getting unloaded.....so we'll see.
What this also means is another freakin 34 hour reset
Anyone going to be in Missoula on Monday?
I'm going to go find rick while im in Missoula and see about this flatbedding thing....
anyway so now im in Wasco, OR at another PeeLot. I got a little over 400 miles left to 1st stop
so yea I guess i'll do my 34 up in Columbia Falls in MT AGAIN. I HATE that place, i might just do it somewhere else i donno but there isnt anything else near there so i'll probably just go there

That's all fine and well AT, but what was your worst? (actually trying to make money, not just taking a few days off...
PS. Spoke with the driver of truck 1790 for a couple of minutes (I think, wrote it down at work today) and he was another one that makes me want to try to get hired by W&S.
