I did tell the recruiter about this and explained that I do have the arest record and Court Papers on my DUI that was lowered to a Plea Of ARR back in 2002 i told here that I drove from one Parking Lot to another and Woke up and the Sheriff got me out of the car.

I learned that the Local Sheriffs can get you for almost any thing.
I am Now a Ham Operator and I also listen to the Police Scanner And Hear alot of junk that is not good.

all and All I am A good person and I am ready to show the world I am a Safe Driver.

I thought that they did away with the distance from the terminals. There is a driver out of NJ that is from VA. There are many runs up into the New England area. In fact we go as far as Caribou, ME. I just came off a 18 stop starting in Southern CT and ending in Ludlow, MA.

on my search i have come to these companies stevens, shneider, swift, roehl, watkins shepard, central refridge.,tmc.

i live in grand prairie,tx im single and unemployed. my first choice was stevens transport cause its near me. second was swift. after looking around i stumble on watkins shepard threads have not seen or read bad reviews bout the company. so tomorrow im going to my local texas workforce and apply to WIA and see if i get approve for them to pay my cdl training. does watkins and shepard still offer there 4 week training school? where would i go for training?

They no longer run a 4wk school...Once you get your CDL and complete school you'll have a 10 day orientation in Missoula, MT or Conover, NC...If you choose WS just make sure the school you plan to attend is on their 'approved' list...Good luck!!!

you would call a recruiter, but Watkins Shepard does not Hire Drivers out of Texas.

check into millis transfer...i dont know if they hire out of TX but i know they run there allot. They are allot like W/S not a bad thing about them, good money there too. They also have their own school ($2500) or free after you've worked there for a year.

If you're game on moving, being single and unemployed, call and talk to recruiting, I know they need people in the Conover area and spoke with someone today that said they would help people move there...Maybe AT will rent you a room! LOL
