I delvered a load of food stuffs to this facility last week. The staff are professional and the yard itself and grounds are fine. But it is the busist place I've ever been to. There is dozens of big trucks and yard mules running round the yard countinusily, and they are moving too fastIt took me 20 minutes just to back into a dock because the yard mules just kept getting in the way, and at times it is grid lock in the yard- there is so much traffic that no one is getting anywere. I was there about 65 minutes total, and I was so releaved to get outta there with out getting hit.
So if you ever get a load to this place just prepare yourself mentally, for it will be stressful. Be safe out there and God bless.

Yes that place is very busy, but it wouldn't be nearly as bad if they would of built the place lile a grocery DC needs to be built. The driveways around the corner of the building are only wide enough for one truck and the back drop lots are laid out ineffciently for a operation this size. But like you said the staff is professional.

I think out of all of them this one is the nicest. Very professional indeed, they actually treat you like a human being instead of a POS. C&S Newburgh, now that one is a PITA to get around in.
-
just be prepared if you spot your trailer there--when you get it back it will have some new war wounds--that place is one huge demoloition derby
-
Do you mean the C&S in Chester, NY? Of so, that is a C&S compared to the many other ones.
-
There is a C&S in Newburgh as well as in Chester. I had to wait in the line of trucks waiting to get into the one in Newburgh one time as I was trying to get into the Kraft/Nabisco dristributor across the street from them. From what it looked like, the one in Newburgh just does dry goods, didn't see a single reefer trailer going in there.

I've been into both, Chester isn't that bad. The one in Newburgh is dry grocery. Its off I-84 where the Newburgh Pilot is, just in the other direction, just past the airport.
