    So were you a marine or in the army (marine base, army color guard) which is it? If you realy were at El Toro you would know it is not in San Diego man!!! It is about 70 miles north in Irvine CA man. Tell me I wrong.

    El toro is not a military base anymore. It was back until pres. Bush closed it and made it a storage facility. el toro was an airfield wich allowed for service to the army,marines,and air force. The base youre talking about is twentynine palms...that is aprox. 70 mi north of cochella desert.
