The person you talked to lied to you. FDOT doesn't care about your DAC. The accident could have been placed on your CSA and MVR records by the FDOT, but they didn't put in on your DAC.

My company explained to me the same thing for a accident I was in. They said that the local police turned it over to Dot to determine whether or not a accident went on my dac report or not.

csa points come from two places and ONLY two places

    1st dot inspections
warnings or tickets you get the points.

    2nd accident reports
if you are in an accident and leo (city, country or state dot or not) makes out an accident report you get the points and at fault has nothing to do with it... right or wrong if you are stopped at a light and get rear-ended and joe the non dot city cop showes up and fills out an accident report and gives the OTHER DRIVER A TICKET you still get the csa points...!

and a side note leo have nothing to do ith what does or doesn't go on your dac

I know this is not what you want to hear but--- After 20 years of truckin Shame on you!! Forget trying to place blame. It was a bad situation and the bottom line is you are the driver that lost the load. Live with it and go on. Happy trails on your next 20! Levi39

Well hell Flood, that aint right.... Your saying that in my situation where the vehicle never touched my CMV and proof was established that I did nothing wrong, and the report says so,,,I still get CSA points???????

I feel my peers on this forum have the know how and have convinced me that the only party that can put anything on my DAC is the fricken company in which I worked for at the time...thank you Very much Schneider National Inc.. for putting something stupid on my DAC: "ran vehicle off road; non-preventable" WTH? How can you run someone off the road,,,report says otherwise, and it be a non-preventable???

i didn't say it was right....

csa points are for being INVOLVED in an accident
your fault, their fault, 1 vehicle, or 25. if our name is on the accident report other than witness you get the csa points.
