yeah i was about to ask the same question. thought the top speed of the trucks were set at like 63 or so. Might be the reason it got dismissed. and was that a pay period of a week or what?

My trainers truck didn't have a govener on it. He owns the truck outright. The paycheck is for one week.

Hey BR thanks for the update, sounds like things are going well for you. Maybe I'm missing something, but it looks like the legal plan was the bargain of the century if it had anything to do with getting the ticket dismissed.

When are the pay periods? I understand the one week lag, what day is the cut-off for the pay period?

I noticed you list that you're from CA but didn't see any trips to CA on your pay records, where did you take home time? I ask this because I'm wondering if they care where you take home time (as in does it have to be taken in your home town of record). What was the reaction of your DM when you announced that you were taking home time, was it noticed or was it "no big deal"?

Thanks again for all the great info.

So everybody in my class passed all three tests for our CDL this week. Been a great week! Driver appreciation week has been going on so we've had free lunches and all sorts of free hats and goodies. 3 day orientation next week and then off with a trainer for few weeks. I looking into doing the team thing with one of the guys here when we're out on our own. Not so much on the leasing side but maybe company team. Well if anybody has any advice on the team situation, let it be heard, lol. Well off for now, time to relax for a bit.
