It is not even in testing yet but will be soon on one fleet (about 50 trucks). Once everything is figured out, it will be rolled out to more trucks. Fuel is the biggest cost for any trucking company, and Out Of Route miles cost even more. Fueling enroute on network saves money, and that leads to more money for all of us.

 

Agreed, and I can understand that. and I have no problem with fueling in rte, just hope they don't start the 50 gal here 50 gal there type of thing

 

NOT TRUE more time driving less time in cluster *%@! truck stop = more money for driver, you must work in the office, or local no otr driver thinks that this is gonna make him money !

 

And jsut to make it clear no I don't drive for JBS as of yet. They want me to start orientation on the 26th.I'm still on the fence right now, so I'm just gathering all the info I can ( you can understand ).

EXACTLY it always amazes me how people who don't even work here THINK they know more about how something is going to work or not work than the employees already here.

 

True as well. I've dealt with that program before it's called "optistop" or was, and the routes that it sends you sometimes just to put on 50 or 75 gal. was just stupid and so time consuming that it wasn't worth it

 

I don't know, if the driver goes way out of rte for no reason unless roads are closed or something, then the driver should get charged the out of rte miles. The rest of the drivers should not get penalized for the few screwups. Just my opinion
