With what I do, Teaming is the only way to go, to make money. We are always moving (as im sitting at the hub in Rialto Ca right now lol) for the most part. Home every 5-6 days for 2+ days. The solo guys don't make as much at the end of the week and are always pushing there 70.. During off peak times we will run about 4500-5500 a week. During peak we will do 6000-7000 and I have done as much as 7580. Although finding a team mate that you can get a long with is the hard part. Teaming is like a marriage, you are with this person more than you are with your family. I have had several team mates over the years. The one I am with now, we have been together a year, but I am looking for this to end soon as we are at each others throat a lot lately. It takes a special breed to team... You have to have a lot of trust in a persons ability to drive while you are trying to sleep. Not only that, but trying to sleep as the truck is bouncing around on the smooth California roads, in bad weather, wind etc... It can be nerve racking some sometimes...
