You need to buy Bears gear when in Northwest Indiana, Colts for anywhere in Indy and pick a state with a team and start buying the local team gear :) I am formally from Massachusetts and wearing my PATS stuff was rough, now I wear PATS stuff with my 45 and things are better :biggrin_25525: Just kidding about the 45 but face it when you show up wearing your favorite team gear in another area you may have trouble unloading..... just saying!

Day one is in the books. Unfortunately was sick as a dog! Only got to run 200 miles before my trainer had to take over. We ran to Ohio and are going to be in beautiful Gary, In tonight! Woohoo! I get to see what everyone is talking about! Oh well, I feel 100% better today so it will be better than yesterday. Stay safe all!

Nice. Enjoy your stay in Gary. It's not that bad in the yard. I'm there so much running MW it feels like home. :)

Have fun in Gary. It isn't that bad, its worse...LOL. We all get through there alot. The good part is you can always find a place to park there day or night. It just stinks that there is nowhere to eat close enough to walk to.

    Everett Thanks this.

Yeah my favorite part about Gary is not having to park at the truck stops there. :)

Well day two was awsome! I ran almost 500 miles myself! I made up for yesterday. Delivered my first load and did some coupling/uncoupling without really a hitch. Got a bunk room in Gary last night and crashed out. I was still sick. I felt good right until the last 50 miles or so and it started hitting me again. I would up taking like 3 extremely hot showers and I think I finally broke my fever! I woke up a little while ago and felt really good.

Oh well, we are off soon to do a reefer load for some reason. lol. My trainer hasn't run a reefer load in years but for some reason...

I got to head out to his truck. Want to grab some java for the road! Stay safe all! Till later on tonight!

Hope you get over whatever is making you sick, it is no fun being sick on the road. If you have a fever make sure you drink alot. Glad to hear everything else is going okay. Have a good day.

    Shotsjc Thanks this.

Good advice! No sense in irritating the locals. They're probably already irritated. You showing up with a jersey from the blood enemy, well, it might not help.
