I took my list of fuel stops, highlighted them in my truck stop book. When i plan my trips i also plan fuel stops accordingly. not hard to plan. I lso include 10 hr breaks with stops when possible. no wasted time or unnessary stops, no turnning no earning.

I would be curious to know which DM everyone has. I understand that it might be a touchy subject as they could very well come here and read these. My hubby has been gone for 3 weeks. 3 weeks with not great miles....sitting waiting for loads.....sitting and waiting to off load as the plans only average 300-400 miles a day so hes early. His last load he picked up a day early and it wasn't even to be in Salt Lake until Thursday when he would be in Greeley Saturday afternoon. Hasn't been home in 3 weeks. TOLD DM would be HOME on Saturady afternnoon please either reschedule delivery for Tuesday-Wednesday as waiting until Thursday was too much off time especially considering the miles recently. YESTERDAY the delivery was rescheduled for MONDAY MORNING. thats right MONDAY MORNING and he was never told. He tries calling her all morning REPEATEDLY to find out whats what NO ANSWER to calls or voice mail messages NOTHING. He hits the yard to then find out what has happened. Her response? "You have plenty of time to get there" THIS is our MAJOR complaint with JBS has been for MONTHS. All his time sitting is done on the road and the minute he gets near Greeley he HAS to go. Last time he got to come home they left him sitting in Phoneix for 2 days finally gave him a load this way and then tried to pull it to give it to another driver. So really his days off where in Phoneix. So now our 2 1/2 year old and I get him for 24 hours after 3 weeks. And not even a kick ### check.

LadyDriverCO said: ↑Your comment confuses me. Hubby is at top rate so not sure what your trying to imply. He is standing here and agreeing with you its the planner not so much his DM BUT she is the one who neglects to tell him whats what or answer her phone or answer the qualcom so I blame her more. Just because you have a long trip doesn't mean anything if your given way too long to deliver it. 300-400 miles a day for a load is riduclious and you can CLAIM everyone does that but I drove for 20 years and KNOW better. Sorry if I am argueing the wrong point as your response is extremely confusing.Click to expand...LadyDriverCO and hazmat777 Thank this.

Scooby379 said: ↑SORRY, I DIDNT COME ACROSS RIGHT, i know he is at top rate, my miles last week were 1800 even ran NYC for them, thats my point they have me an him bumping docks and waiting a day for a 400 mile load while the newer 32 cent per mile driver gets unloaded has a preplan for a 1800 mile trip waiting on him, go back an look at these post an look at there yrs experience, there running like 4 trips in 2 weeks 3000 3500 each week an goin home... i have been out 5 weeks will go anywhere, as your husband probably does,,,, that use to mean something, not any more...... not here anywayClick to expand...

Yeah hubby even volunteers for NYC for the extra pay. It is just so frustrating to want so bad to make this work....to be able to stay at ONE company....... He is like you he will go anywhere and stay out all he asks is to be able to swing through home and not sit while hes out much over requirements. Sitting is for the house not the road. 1800???? MAN now I feel so stupid complaining. I feel even dunber not realizing the difference could be what rate the drivers are at. Stupid me I think you save money running the guys who KNOW how to run.
Scooby379 Thanks this. -
Hey L.D.CO. Talked to your hubby last night. I know he doesn't drink but having a beer might do wonders for the blood pressure!
Hey does anyone know if they can do a washout at DeQueen or somewhere in between El Dorado AR and there? Thanks.LadyDriverCO Thanks this.
