Close facing freeway right by the scales. Should have called or text me. Bummer would have liked to say goodbye.

Did a drop n' hang out while the tire guy showed up at my shipper in Joslin IL, Sunday morning. Sent RA a message to get the tire guy out... followed by this total idiot telling me that running down the road (with a loaded trailer weighing around 60,000 lbs and a tire that was totally off of the rim) would magically reinflate itself with that wimpy little tire inflation system huffin' and puffin'. 10 QC messages later - and a phone call in which I told him we were going to be joined by our indominatable safety director - the idiot finally decided it wouldn't be too much trouble to find a tire guy to come out. He finally gave up claiming that he could have reinflated the tire after we found a hole all the way through the tread surface.
You've got to be freakin' kidding me! When did the bean counters take over the operational side of this outfit???
Got down the road with a new trailer tire... had to really hustle since quite a lot of my 14 was burned up with this idiot. Got to my first drop in Paducah KY with about 20 minutes left. Short night.
At my 90 in Salem VA. -

Sitting at receiver near Stockton, CA waiting on a load. Completed my first TNT load yesterday and had a short local run this morning. Hoping for something gling to the East coast, preferably the Southeast so I can get some hometime after being gone nearly two months now.

In Cumming, GA for early a.m. pickup, then headed for Cheyenne. Was here exactly 50 weeks ago when the fair was in town. Missed it by 2 weeks this year....
