Thought I would get a Thread like this going to help out some of the newbies on here for when they get assigned a trainer if he/she is listed they might be able to know what to expect from this person upfront and some "inside" information on them.. Hope this helps!!!!
Ill start with the ones I had when I started.
Evo 1 - Kris (Chris) S... (Flat Bed Driver) He was alright as a trainer, but being I'm a Cajun from the deep south and he pretty much adopted the U.P. as his new home we didn't see eye to eye lol... wasn't personal, well maybe it was, but we was just oil and water. but a decent trainer none the less.
Evo 2 - My Buddy (still talk to him atleast once a month) Rodger K. out of Lakeland,FL. (Van Driver)
I cant sing this mans praises enough, HE is the one I credit to teaching me how to drive a truck. We got along great, hes a retired Dept. Sheriff and with me being a former Bounty Hunter married to a Dept. Sheriff I knew what to expect from him cause of who he was and that helped I think.
He trains like I would and lets you drive watching all the time and doesn't mess with you driving. then at the end of the day he will go over things you did that you need to work on and need not to do (he will tell you then if its something major) instead of yelling at you while trying to drive about how you are doing it wrong.. (See Evo 1 HAHAHA)
Trust me if he can teach me to drive and have me still driving 2 yrs later.. Hes GOTTA be good LOL.
And come-on someone's gotta put PAOLDSCHOOL's Bio on here too lol..![]()

Bob K. out of Altoona, PA. Had him for EVO I for 9 days. Only 1 of the 3 that trained me that had a fridge and also a microwave. A good guy and a very good trainer. I still talk with him from time to time and he was always insightful about places that Roehl delivered or picked up at if I had any questions, seems he had been to them all.

Wayne W., ran almost my entire evo with him in 08. (Not so sure about printing full names on here without their knowledge).
Great guy, taught me a lot.
You will recognize him
By his bright fluorescent green Roehl shirts. Flatbed.Meltom Thanks this. -
Good Point! especially if they are listed as one of the worst lolTreefork Thanks this.

hmm
Evo1 Mike and ... flatbedders
EVO2 Ed G van (W VA) taught me everything i know, good friend, Lease operator trainer so harder on you for tearing stuff up, since it costs him, so you had to learn faster... -
I've got nothing to add as I would be biased towards my former drivers. Great thread idea, should be really helpful for those about to get a trainer. Keep in mind that just because one person says they're good/bad doesn't mean its true, its just a review of that dudes personal experience.
thelastrebel and Everett Thank this. -
I had Meltom for a trainer and he kept making me punch people while we were out. I had to request a new trainer because I was tired of getting beat up.bullhaulerswife and Meltom Thank this.

I had Bob for evo 1 too, and I agree with you. Good guy, great trainer. We stay in touch as well. It's nice to have a friend as well as a resource who knows the company and many of its customers well.
