More info on your "acess to enforce", please.

BTW your signing "73's" means "best regards's" ,since it is already plural it should be said or written as "73":biggrin_25525:

It depends on how far below 28.500 MHz you go, I always seem to find a large congregation of AM stations btween 540-1700 KHz.:biggrin_25522::biggrin_25523::biggrin_25522:

Best advice IMO. Wouldn't even need to go as big as a four pill.......

    Self proclaimed radio police.

Fact is all he can do is call or contact the FCC about an offending station. He can't touch a station, write a ticket for an offending station or anything else.

Unless something has changed, even a ham can not legally operate a converted 10 meter radio on 11 meters because of the higher then 4 watt output of these radios.

    K7DFA and WA4GCH Thank this.

    Morning Rat ...

Yep even a law enforcement officer EXCEPT under the exemption law
PL 106-521 cannot enforce CB rules.

    In trucks ....

"The bill was amended in the Senate, which made a specific change
requested by the American Trucking Association. The final version
contains language with respect to CB gear aboard a "commercial motor
vehicle" (as defined in Title 49, §31101 of the US Code) requiring that
state or local authorities have probable cause that the vehicle or its
operator was in violation of the regulations before they attempt to
    enforce such a statute."

    Thats the scoop .....

If I remember right it had some problems, but I can't be specific cause I can't remember. Ask AB7IF, he knows his stuff and will steer you right.

Not really, but I do have a lot of "free" time, and I can be rather "long winded" when writing a reply.
I am a lot less prone to "long-windedness" when talking on the radio, esp. since becoming licensed.
