Well I'm getting closer to being finished. By time I was done with classes, it was after 4:00 before I was able to go back to the sleep lab and get my results. I was lucky that she stayed till 6:30 just to get two of us fitted and up and running. It looks like I will be sleeping with a vacuum strapped to my face. Oh well I guess it is a good thing, seems everyone I talk to says it has helped them alot. If it dosn't work I can always get a lot lizard to wear it for me so I don't have to. LOL :biggrin_25523:

I've been running all over the place getting everything done and haven't timed it just right to meet up with anyone from here yet. Hopefully tomorrow I will. I'm usually outside the dining room around 6:00 am having a smoke before I go in for breakfast.

I think that breathing thru the night vs. stopping breathing thru the night will make you feel much better in the long run.

There IS something about oxygen that your body seems to like a lot, isn't there. ;)

Seriously, I had a direct report employee who was diagnosed with sleep apnea and he had a terrible time adjusting to the face gear. Took him about a week, but even during that week he said he slept longer and better than before.

Well so far so good, I tried my CPAP last night. I fell asleep in about ten minutes and woke up in the same position that I fell asleep in. This is the first time I have been able to sleep on my back in over 40 years. :biggrin_255: I guess I'll be keeping it.

(the lot lizards will have to get their own) :biggrin_2559:

cpap is constant pressure air assist something to that effect it pushes air against flap in back of throat that heavier people with big necks have problem with we stop breathing at times

CPAP is for people who have sleep apnea. They actually stop breathing at night. It's not just for big boys--the fellow that worked for me was a thin guy. He just had sleep apnea for some reason.
