Slow times

    Is there any parts of the year where frieght becomes slow and you guys find a lot of down time or low pay because of the frieght?

    usually around tax time it might slow for a week, beginning of year slows a little. it all depends on what your haulin. some don't have slow times just less than busy. to me van is hit the worst, sso many companies doing it now and it is so cut throat for freight. this year here has been unusually slow for frieght.

    Peepin is right, if you pull a van , right around X-mas through february is really slow.

    Reefer doesn't slow down as much, but winter months means less produce, so that slow down is there.
