She isn't looking for someone to take over her payments. She is looking for an investor to buy her loan if I understand correctly.

I am real and do read all responses. The reason I don't answer most of the posts is because I thought if the question was answered you were done. I didn't realize I was expected to continue posting when the issue was resolved.

And I can guarantee you my story is true and accurate. I can also guarantee you that all these truck payments have been made and ON TIME. I have contacted a lawyer and this situation has been handled. We will no longer be harrassed, and the reason we WERE being harrassed is because the people who sold us this truck still have debt attached to it and somebody is riding their butts. They, in turn, are riding ours and blaming us because the mail doesn't get 70 miles overnight.

If you have any other doubts about my character that I can correct, please feel free to ask. I realize there are many dishonest people in this world, but you would be hard-pressed to find anyone more honest than I am, and frankly, these last 2 posts hurt my feelings.

I thought this was a place to go to ask legitimate trucking questions, and didn't realize it was a place to go to have your reputation questioned. How disappointing.

Open a bank account with the same bank they use. Use that account to pay the payments. You can transfer the funds on friday from your account to theirs and they'll receive them the same day. No hassle.
    Gets them off your back.

You may be paying, but what guarantee do you have they are passing that money on to the leinholder of the truck. You could end up paying close to $60k, and in the end the truck be repossesed. Have the lawyer check into that. It wouldn't be the first time that has happened. Ask a few former Arrow L/P contractors that thought their trucks were within a few months of being paid off when the repo man came.

Sheesh. And people say leasing from a large company is bad news. This sounds like a nightmare.

Online bill pay or money transfer sounds like a really good idea. You can set it up so your money is taken out on the same day each week and deposited in their account. There will be a record of each payment so that doesn't come around and bite you.

    Good luck with this.

What this girl needs to realize is that their biggest problem isn't the folks that they are paying. It's the leinholder that might not be getting paid that could be the big problem.
Birds Eye make sure you have your lawyer find out who the original leinholder is contact them and find out pymt history. Then talk to them about getting lease turned around and into your own name. If the contract you are holding with the wolfs won't allow you to do this legally then have lienholder call you as soon as payment is missed. This way you won't have the truck re-posessed out from under you. In todays economy most lienhiolders have enough trucks already re-poed in their yards and will be willing to work with you. But be up front with them.

Good Luck and keep us posted.

    Injun Thanks this.

If the payment is due Saturday and they don't get it until Monday in the mail, it's late. They sound like a pain in the neck to deal with so disarm them. Send your payment on Tuesday morning, that should get it anywhere by Saturday or even Friday. If that just leads to another gripe from them, find them and knock out there front teeth, his and hers. And lighten up a little, if you've never pounded the teeth out of someone who needed it, it's a great release.

It is a place that you can come to find legitimate advice about anything having to do with the trucking industry. You have to overlook the morons who try to discriminate. I get it all the time and can come back in like this and pick them apart lol... Keep your head up...

This advice right here is something you really need to look into. I am in a lease situation just like you guys. The only difference in me and you guys, other than the harassment, is I am the one who typed up the contracts that were signed by myself and the guy who owns the truck. We have a lease agreement between me and the guy im buying the truck from, a release of financial information that was presented to the loan company allowing me to call them at any time and get any information I want in regards to the loan and payoff on my truck, and a release of title that states once the last payment is made on the truck according to our agreement the title will be released and handed over to me.

Sending in the payment a few days earlier or as stated in a few other earlier posts setting up something with the banks would be a very good idea. As much as you would probably like to, however, I dont think knocking there teeth out is to good of an idea. It would be if you wanted to spend some time in the state housing facility and a sure way to lose your truck.

I wish you guys the best of luck and reading that contract you have and having a lawyer get involved is a very smart.

I think we finally have this problem straightened out. The owners of the truck seem to be fine now since we are mailing the payments a day early. Besides, the contract clearly states we have a grace period of 10 days. She does occasionally send a receipt of all the payments that have been made to date, so I do have proof of that. I believe they do own the truck outright, but still owe on repairs that were made to it before we bought it.

I do appreciate all the advice you gave us. Thanks much, everybody!
