Where Are They Now?

Those lunchboxes were classics. I remember having the Incredible Hulk and Scooby Doo. You think about it though, a bologna sandwich sitting at room temperature for 4-5 hours probably was about to spoil. Us kids were on the verge of food poisoning and didn't even know it.

 

It STILL was a hell of a lot safer than some of that school cafeteria food!

FWIW, I never had a lunch box. We used (and RE-used paper bags.)

 

About 5th grade the box was out and the bags were in. I never had to save them though.

I wonder what they pay for a lunch today. I remember .35 and then .50. Milk was a nickel and ice cream .15

I'm quite a bit older than you are Condo. But what they called "hot lunch" was .35. Can't remember what anything else was. In fact, just remembering those "hot lunch" meals is enough to keep me from eating the rest of the day. . .

 

I pay $1.75 for my elem. school child and $2.50 for my middle school child. Extra milk is .75 I sometimes go have lunch with my youngest and I pay $3.00 for an adult size lunch.

 

I believe it! I went a long time before going to ND. I thought I was in the twilight zone when I finally went. I never seen so many 1's and 2's. Fugly had a new meaning. Any woman from the outside can go there and be an instant 10.

 

He accidentally friended himself.

 

Someone made him mad when they didn't understand his humor. He posted he was taking a break over the winter.

I for one like his humor. He owes me $20 on the next superbowl. He better be back.
