    Those are some big numbers!
Got one more day of orientation here in Phoenix after testing out on the road and range today. Looks like I might be waiting on a trainer for a few days, though.

It's hard on any family man starting out. You have to put your time in while weathering the storm and keeping your family together. I'm glad you made it through and found a situation that better suits your family life.

    it was actually 3672 lol
Already have a 2370 due on Monday, and not even leaving until tomorrow morning
I will say that some with some trainees, all the miles in the world aren't worth it though lol

no knee pads needed...just do your job, as expected...on time, take what is offered, and run your 70
IF I ever have a slow week, I know it's just poor location/timing, and it will all work itself out.

Always on time, was able to get out of one bad 200 mile load only because I had air leak going to brake chamber. Costs me 3 days, no down. Plus time off.

no such thing as a bad load...they all pay, and it may get you another, better load, which you might not have had otherwise

There are bad ones. Platinum was talking about a load they gave him that he couldn't drop, swap or deliver early. 200 miles and three days. That's a bad load. You are just babysitting a mobile cold storage at that point.

Granted that load does pay, but who wants $75 for three days work with a good change of not seeing layover pay? With layover it would be $225 total, but you could potentially make three times that amount over 3 10 hour days of driving.

    platinum Thanks this.

Had one of those two weeks ago. it what it is. They try their hardest to get someone who needs a reset to babysit them, but it doesn't always work out that way
