We do, but the laws in Canada are different. It's legal here to have the booze in the trucks.
-
That's exactly what I meant, trying to correct a post that someone made before me.
I could take it into Canadia, but it had better be gone before I try to enter the US.
My company (US) had a couple Canuck drivers try to enter the US and declared a few cans of beer in the fridge... it turned out pretty ugly.
I roll the dice every week on too much tobacco but never screw around with alcohol on border crossings. -
It may be legal to carry booze over the Canadian border, but when you are driving down American roads going to Canada it is illegal.
trucker_101 Thanks this. -
Yes it is.
-
OK, so define "kiddy", sir.... I mean, under 16, or under 10? That'll get 'em going.
-
Personally, I find it much easier to just not cross the border, have no problem with canada, been there a couple of times, both in a CMV and personal vehicle, just to much of a scandle in my opinion

Anyone ever try to sneak Cuban Cigars over from Canada?
-
Would not even consider it.
You have to tell them what you bought up there.
Anything else is at risk for a possible search which I have had happen a few times.
Not worth jail. -
No need to sneak them in, I just drive to Tarpon Springs on the waterfront and have the man roll them for me.
You will never find a real Cuban cigar in Canada no matter what they tell you.
