dont know my truck is in my yard so i dont think anyone is going to drive it.

they will tell you u cant take it home just do it! you wont here a word if you do... take it home anyway.And DONT TELL OTHER DRIVERS! i got home today at 10am friday got to load in Indian town monday at 1pm with 9 loads to do b4 friday to lake wales 94.00 a load not to say that i wont be busting ##### but it is what it is.and i should be taking a few 10 hrs at home....if all goes well.


You need to know this is a company with 500 trucks and something like 10 fm's very easy to slip away at home.

 

If you park at winter haven yard for home time, if they need your truck they are using it, some guys choose to clean it out on hometime some say the hell with it.

 

yep 50 bucks a day after 48 hrs. no hrs unless u load and take to the yard for otr driver to take then its only 7.32 hr till you hit 40 bucks.thats local driver pay.

otr driver will not get no hr pay.

 

yes if you park there thats what you get.take it home!

 

look at were you live! no one wants to run up there you live there so you run there.

as for the butt licking i cant help it that i live here and see the people face to face everyday that you only talk to on the phone.

gezzz guys take it easy on me!! im not sayin this is the best job!! its like any other job if you see the boss what do you do? say what you really feel or ask him how the fishin was this weekend?

 

yea , I parked the truck at winter haven and flew home to NY for hometime. That was around 2 weeks ago. I dont really feel like going back and told them that. The unpaid hours sitting at customers wore me down. SO I am taking a couple more weeks and seeing what else is around. I guess its a short leave of absence or something.

Randy, I love it here!! But I am more busy driving than I am typing. This company will Feed you if you prove that you are a hussler. HOWEVER......I do not know what the future brings. There is like 5 trucks testing out e logs now. Rumors say e-logs for everyone 1st of next year. If that is the case then you can have fun driving a tank....but will be making no money, at .35/mile. If you have questions.....ASK, I will tell you anything I can.

 

I don't complain to them unless I'm getting screwed over, I accept every load,never late I say the 7 months I been here 5 1/2 have been spent doing under 350mile loads in the north east.. Why am I being feed the scraps while others get the steak?

When I left last wed I ran the port to johanna thurs n fri was told there was no other loads...bs, so when I ran into another driver in iona he said he loaded in fla delivered johanna, and reloaded fri for paw paw,mi. That's bs I'm a otr running local for 2 days and some guys are just in and out.

 

Giants that sucks man hope things get better. I try to stay out of the east coast.i like running west and midwest thats where they keep me. Its what u make of it here i guess Idk. IRT is ok for me cant really complain to much. I guess we dont have the tulare yard anymore just passed by it tonight. Its all empty. That sucks now i got to drive to turlock if i need anything now.....ugh. ...oh well atleast i dont have to see wayne very much anymore lol
