Has anyone hears Prime switched TNT mile requirement back to 60,000?

You better care about you. That little one at home wants her daddy-o home SAFE AND SOUND. If you can't do it for YOU, then stay safe for the ones who are stuck at home, who find themselves double checking your route with every truck wreck that comes across the news.

There is a lot of mention about how hard it is for you guys out there away from family. I think sometimes you lose sight of how hard it is for US. We worry about you AND the stuff going on at home, too. It's been said that it takes a special kind of woman to be a Trucker's Wife. And it is true. It's as bad as being married to a military man who is deployed. And we all know those statistics.

Trying to give everyone wings (my kids are 17 and a smidget shy of 12, oh, and the 46 year old kid who is loving his new career) while maintaining the roots if ###### hard. Yes, I have stuff that I can do FOR ME. And I'm doing it, mostly. But, always, in the back of my mind, is the worry that someone I gave wings to is about to crash.

Is that 60k miles on the students log or total to truck miles?

Truck miles...12 weeks....like it used to be "back in the good ole days"!

I got tired of picking on Swifties....you guys have better come backs and a bit more intelligible in debate!

I can understand that Dragontamer. I have been a military wife dealing with deployments, kids, house and working full time. Now I am a truck driver's wife dealing with pretty much the same things. At least now I only have 1 kid at home now!!!

Truck miles... looks like 30k stands for the time being. Don't like it myself. It puts us in the position of having a lot more low-mile new guys on the road with no winter experience. I imagine Don Lacey is going to be REAL busy this winter... unfortunately.

We over here on the dark side welcome an aquatic-mammal-driver so perceptive and obviously intellegent!

Now if we could dispose of the irritating chimpanzee...

For those of you who are wondering what the reference to "an aquatic-mammal-driver"....my moniker is "Otter"!

The 60k makes sense in my book! Keeps a student on a truck with some experienced supervision for the winter season. Am I just imagining or is the change for that reason...keeping the students with supervision for the snow and ice(?) or just because the waiting list has dwindled due to these BS suits getting a bunch of attention and notoriety?

Now the big question....who is Don Lacey? *and does he wear slip ons?*:biggrin_2559:

I have no family, just my cat. There is no one who needs me. I'm not going to crash. Even my instructor commented that I do everything to avoid hitting anything. My flatbed trainer commented today about how safe of a driver I am, n how he his comfortable sleeping behind me. I'm not needed, n most of the time not wanted, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to drive safe.

Yanno...if JCW heard me say that kinda stuff about me...he'd smack me upside the head. SO...next time he sees you, I'm gonna make a point to ask him real nice like to smack you upside the head. You don't think your cat will miss you? Trust me...she will. Ask JCW about Misty...she tied herself up in knots. Literally. Won't let anyone else get 'em out of her, either.

So, JCW, honey? Would you mind planting a Katpaw upside ORDs head? I promise I'll pay you back.:biggrin_25514:

FYI, you done got adopted as one o' them peoples I keep a little eye on.
