    HI All

I promised myself to stay away from FOR Profit Truck driving programs. But, I was close by and decided to visit. I actually snuck around and talked to alot of students. Ive done quite alot of reading and research and I dont think these students knew of the community colleges or PTDI. The one guy I talked to recently completed a career in the Army. He also finished the school and was waiting to take the test. He told me out of the 164 hour class he only spent 4 hours behind the wheel driving on the streets. But, he seemed very positive about passing his test. He also said the school used school time to let companies come in and give career presentations. The whole first week was all classroom. Seems like the school has really cut costs at the students expense. Anyone graduate from this school and care to comment? This school is only a short drive from my house.

Going to school near there at the C-1 , few of my classmates mentioned they visited there and thought it was a good school, though maybe they didnt ask the right questions. Sounds like they are better off at C-1, at least we spend alot of time on the trucks and great scores at the state test sites by its students. They work with us no matter what our pace to help us suceed.

I contacted C -1 on their website and then phoned them.. I was given another website to go to and then it led me to DRIVER SOLUTIONS.

A friend of mine had suggested this school because they have no pre-employment physical (not DOT physical) that is required by most other schools I've attended.

I am to contact my recruiter this monday but I'm not sure if I will be able to get into C 1... PLEASE HELP ! !

I think driver solutions and C1 are the same company. The driver solutions does the recruiting and C1 does the training.
