Smaller sleeper, lighter older truck not as much interior room. Not a big shiny condo with a 73" sleeper that they reserve for the Newbies I guess? I don't know why, this is what she said. I thought you would know, your the one answering all the questions here. LOL

I was just wondering if the North East Fleet gets decent mileage per week?

 

NE regional get an extra 5CPM, and lightweight trucks also get an extra 5CPM.

As far as driving in the NE, the miles will be lower than if you were running all 48, hence the extra pay. The weeks where I am in the NE all week are right around 2000 miles.

 

I run fewer miles on the lease side than I did on the company side... about 15% less.

 

I don't know if any of you prime drivers would have an answer, but how long does it take to get in the truck with trainer after you take a sleep test, test negative then go thru getting the pressure test for your cpap machine and mask? I think i read somewhere that the sleep test is $130.00 upfront. Then $55.00 a week out of your check.

 

better yet if you flunk your sleep test , then your out the door right, i dont sleep well in strange surrounds, or could you please explain how this sleep thing works thanks

Why dont you just ask the question first? Why make a statement about something you dont know about. Is it just to worry and confuse someone with no knowledge about the policy.

Flunk a test and you are out the door? WRONG.

This sleep test thing has been explained over and over. A simple search will find you the answer.

I'm currently a company driver/trainer and looking to switch to prime's company side and becoming a trainer. If they run the truck as a team what can I expect to gross a week?
