Teams have a advantage in regards to the reset, done correctly, they only need 24 hours off to make a 34 hour reset work.
Example, Driver 1 drivers 10 hours, that means Driver 2 is already on a 10 hour break.
Truck is down for 24 hours, that gives Driver 2 his/her reset, Driver 2 starts driving and driving his/her 10-11 hours, leaving Driver 1 to have the previous 24 off, and + 10, giving him/her a 34 hour reset.

Back when I was in training we did what my trainer called a team reset. When on a slower load one of us just skipped a shift and the truck was only shut down for 10 hours. It worked best when your hours ran out in different parts of the week.
