what do you mean they dont allow you to drive out? its up to you if you want to drive out you can, other guys that went to prime said they drove out and what if you wanted to move there well you'd need your vehical.when i go im going to drive out and set up residency there.oh and you should call the ma.dmv and tell them what your plan is.im in nh. and called the nh.dmv and explained everything and they told me they get people often from prime and other schools in the mid-west with the same story and that all i have to do is pay the fee's and prove that i live in nh. to transfer back to a nh. license but i dont have to take any tests to transfer back.

Better make sure you have all your ducks lined up to change residency to Missouri or you will be denied until you do.

The DMV is well aware of the mailbox situation at Prime and won't allow you to use that or any other PO Box service.

In addition you may have to provide a utility bill or other forms of residency intent.

Prime and the DMV have an agreement that the address on your MO CDL at graduation is only a temporary one and that the CDL will be transferred to the legal state of residence of the student within the required time limit (30, 60 or 90 days... I can't remember)

BTW the address is the hotel, and you will be instructed that that address is temporary on the form Prime gives you.

I learned alot while registering my car in MO as a non resident. The DMV computer will kick back any non physical registered address... While Prime's address itself is legit, any attempt to include a Prime mailbox number will be rejected... And Prime mail room will return any and mail not addressed to a box or an approved on site employee.

    DenaliDad Thanks this.

Also, if you setup an prime mailbox, you will sign a form that you will not receive and mail will be returned to sender if the proper box number isn't included on the address.

Also agree that the box cannot be used as for legal or permanent addresss use.

i called the ups store in springfield and if you get a p.o.box through them you get a box number with a street address so when you go to the dmv to register you have a physical street address to register your car. only question is where do you store your car while trucking? storage or can you leave it at sprimo headquarters parking lot?

The DMV computer will not recognize that box number at the UPS as a permanent address location. DMV computer will show the street address as a comercial business and reject it as a domicle residence. DMV will allow it as a mailing address but you will have to provide a physical domicile address under the Permanent address requirement.

You can try, but prepare for disapointment and have a plan B. again I went thru this last year.
