Ok I have a dumb question. I was stopped at a scale house on 55 going into Louisiana about 30 min after my 10 Hr break. My log book was.not current at time, my bad, but I had previous 7 days. He was a good guy and I was polite to him also, he gave me time to make current. Then he gave me the report that listed the violation, no citation number, and that's all I recieved. Is this a warning or ticket? Pretty sure just a warning but I've been wrong before!! No oos or anything, I went on my way with a be safe.

It's a inspection report that list a log violation of not being current to your last change of duty status. Nothing more. A citation would have been a seperate form/piece of paper.

nether really, it a inspection report, showing a violation, you will need to send into your company, for compliance to sign and send back, usually with in 15 days

What kind of report did he give you?

If all you got was a copy of the FMCSA inspection, then that was not a citation. A citation (Ticket $$$) would be a separate piece of paper.

Driver with most points wins right? I think its either 2 or 7 points for me. It sucks but its the only points I've ever recieved. Not the.best but could be worse, it did its job, my logs will be current from now on! Thanks for the responses

I really wish you guy's would figure out he has no "points". He has as an individual has no CSA rating. NONE!

    From CSA FAQ page:

What are the Intervention Thresholds for drivers?

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration does not address drivers the same way that it addresses motor carriers. While motor carriers are prioritized for intervention based on the Safety Measurement System, drivers are only investigated during a carrier investigation. Therefore, no Intervention Thresholds are in place for drivers.

So according to the csa faq websit , no points from the warning go on my record, only the companies csa score? So my record, as far as csa goes, is clear? If that's true it changes everything I thought I knew about the system
