D12 warranty info

    Any place online i can find additional warranty info? I know there are such things like government warrantys that unless u know about them you will pay for the work. For instance i purchased a 2OO1 car on ebay that unknowingly needed a new computer. But my trusted mechanic found online where there was an 8 year government warrany on it.[this was in 2OO9] Long story short, im trying to find out if this ECU on volvo d12{i have a O6 volvo 78O} is under any kind of warranty. Any idea online where to look? Thanks in advance!!!

    I really think not. I worked with, or attempted to work with after market warranties and they don't seem to work out well. What I would really suggest is to get an engine rebuild through Volvo dealer. You will then have a full warranty on the motor then. This is the only way I think its possible to have a decent warranty. The engine rebuilds for your motor is about $12,000.
