I can enlighten. The max Prime will take out of your settlement to pay a co-driver is 15CPM. The one time I kept a co-driver on after his upgrade it was for 2 months in the winter, because he wanted winter driving with a trainer. I made a deal with him where I kicked him a percentage of the trucks profit. Ended up being about an extra $15-2000 a month to him.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew there was some sort of thing... I heard someone complaining about having a company co-driver on a Lease truck

It does discourage company drivers from staying on a L/O truck without some sort of additional unoffical pay deal between the L/O and co-driver.

I would get something in writing on any additional deal... Prime would have no responsibility if the co-driver gets screwed, and it would be totally upon the co-driver to prove it and get some sort of re-course.
