That's part of the reason as a lease op I never fueled at pilot/flying j. Other drivers told me that they were accused of heating the fuel before it hits the pumps. I always seem to go further on TA/Petro fuel.

Would probably cost more to heat the fuel then it is worth! Sounds like a "Billy big rigger" tale. Pretty common round these parts! Same drivers telling you they are running 5200 miles a week and are getting 12mpg on their 500CAT!

Could be... they say it will be heavy, so I am going to fuel and scale before I go in so I can give them an idea of the amount of weight I can take....

I am about 45 mins. from Greenville, SC. I unload in Greenville tomorrow, then I will be heading from Newberry, SC to Aurora, IL. This time I won't have mechanically separated turkey parts... Finished product this time.

Just found out my temp DM is now perm. I belong to the Kraft-Mart fleet. :biggrin_25523: poor guy have to straddle Walmart dedicated and kraft dedicated... Considering the number of Walmart D/Cs I deliver to, I reckon this is fitting.. :biggrin_2556:

It wasn't so much the kids - it was the 'drivers' - SMALL lot where you have to pull all the way in then swing around to the left to the fuel island then out the same opening as the entrance... not just that, but they had several spaces blocked off for construction - it was a crazy mess and the CB was burning up - LOL! We were able to leave during a calm spell thank goodness :yes2557:

seems like i did that newbeey to auroura run 100 times then always left auroura and went to woodstock Ill for a load of pickles going to norcross. tip on the woodstock pickle run they will load you a day early so you dont have to sit around till appt time. i always did this and got a day of hometime when i got to norcross i only lived 12 miles from there so it worked out great for me.

The way I understand that FAIR TAX system is first it gets rid of the IRS, which is great as far as I am concerned. You pay a tax on ONLY new things that you purchase, not on used items. So you would pay the tax on a new car, truck, boat, house, but if you purchase something that was previously owned, there would be no tax. It is presumed that rich people buy more new stuff than middle and lower income persons and they would end up paying the bulk of the taxes on things.
