If anything, its for running the left lane. Its not posted everywhere but the left lane minimum speed limit in NM is 65. NM doing this wouldn't suprise me, the state is a broke ### ############!

You have a link to support this?

I have looked and have not found anything except for the sites where they have signs stating it.

I have seen the NM police running at slower than 65 in the left lane.

So now all the trucks that are capped so they run slower than 65mph, stay in the right-hand lane. It may give the impression of a "convoy", so we could get cited for that. Ticketed for too fast, now ticketed for too slow, or for running a covoy. Let's face it they just want to be able to ticket all trucks all the time... :biggrin_25525:

Have you found chasing rumors to be an effective method? Did you hear about the car with a bloody hand stuck in the door handle?

In a lot of ways, I wish they would start citing slow trucks, especially on the interstates where its 75 miles an hour. Who knows, maybe if these companies start havin' to pay enough road hazard tickets, they'll stop this nonsense of thinking 62 is better than safety for fuel mileage.....
