It would be nice if u got a brand new truck. It looked like they were down to about 10 or 12 trucks in the Turlock yard yesterday. They looked brand new for as much as I could see from the 99 cruising by.
-
been there done that 'cept I did it in a Ford, catch me later IRT !!
bwhahahahahaha.. -
There's at lest 25 or so new petes on the yard in wh.
-
figures...
they tried to give me a ragged out 387 that every scumbag and his cousin had trashed, sorry I don't live like that.. -
Mike, you start the new gig yet? Interested to see how you like it, had a mediocre day today, 2 loads cement and 1 load of slag. The weather was crappy so they weren't pouring much, but for my 11 hours I still pulled down 200 plus for the day, not too bad. It's been very up and down though, only 3 days this week was I able to get multiple loads, Wed. and Thurs. were only 1 load days, but it all works out for me, I'm just trying to get through the next few months up here and then take my cracker ### back south!!!!

nope, just as I thought they don't have an empty truck looking at *maybe* the end of next week now at the earliest...I am suppose to go see this guy on Monday about a reefer job running down to FL and back from PA if he makes a decent offer I'm taking it I can't sit any longer funds are getting low..
I hear ya on the weather be glad it isn't snow its not that far off then things start getting really interesting !! -
A dedicated back and forth to Fl would be a good deal as well, kind of weird that the tank company would peak your interest in the position and now tell you they don't have a truck for you, that's kind of a crappy way to do business. I recall seeing an add on craigslist not too long ago about a Pittsburgh to Florida and back dedicated run, this wouldn't happen to be what you're talking about would it?
-
They had a brand new W900L sitting in the shop wasn't even lettered up yet....She had said she was moving a guy into a new truck and I would be getting his old one last I heard..who knows !!!
nope on the Pitt to FL I'm looking over on the east side of the state.. -
Groundpounder, I used to live in Harrisburg a long time ago, and worked for Danny Sanger out of Fredricksburg. I heard he went out of business several years ago. Did you ever know him or any of his drivers? When my paycheck bounced, I quit, and relocated to Oregon.
