What happened to the Good Ol Days?

That is what we are talking about more dedicated employees to make Bs regulations.

 

Union bashing is political.

Some of these regulations were done by government influence and from influence from the trucking industry.

Some of the others have been by the influence of the insurance industry.

 

Not to mention regulations that are fed in under the guise of "safety", but actually seem to be coming from anti-trucking groups, like those idiots that feel all us drivers are out to run down the poor, defenseless 4-wheelers...or the railroads, who appear to be trying a comback, and want to refight the '70's conflict between truck and train. Which, for you newer drivers who don't remember, trucks won quite handily. For some reason, them darned trains don't go so good without them heavy lengths of iron to run on....hmmmm...

I'm too young to actually remember'em. But alot of the old hands up here who got me interested in driving for a living do. Some of them also remember the REAL Jimmy Hoffa. The old man, not the kid...

Like, did you hear that all Haz-Mat endorsed drivers are soon gonna be required to have GPS, audio, and visual chips inplanted in their heads by 2015? And they're gonna have to pay for the implants and maintainence fees out of pocket, too. Sounds expensive, don't it?
