WTH! The truck rear ended another truck and just blows up?
-
Could have been flammable materials in the truck that was struck.
-
Yey, it was probably a junkliner.
-
So why was the truck tail gateing?

From the story they said fuel cell broke loose. I'm sure they meant the batteries. They probably shifted and arced against the frame or tank. A survivable crash turned deadly. Possible from the batteries not being clamped down??
It looked like city traffic under the interstate?? All it takes is a one second distraction. Something most take for granite.
My condolenses to the family. -
Here's a thought. Some of these newer trucks are equiped with emissions equipment that runs at a temp of 900-1000 deg.f per international dealer ( i wasn't gonna touch it to confirm ). On the new prostar & lonestar said equip. is very close to the right side fuel tank. Not sure how others are set up, but fuel, heat source. See what I'm getting at.
